Difference between being lowly and being low

Being low sounds like it is a terrible thing to be as a human doesn't it? If you're ever being called a low person, it's referring to you being- unethical, corrupt, sneaky, vile, disreputable, dishonorable, the villain and just the list goes on all the way to the snake. That bad, huh?  The Bible uses the word often, quite often, and it is not bad. It's, to the contrary, a great way of being. Jesus was described as a lowly. It's one of his best character traits he possesses. The bible represents it as gentle, submissive, humble, meek and low status. Being low status again sounds just plain wrong, that is in our society; but rather it is making a point to depend on God and not on one self. It shows that humans are not the Most HIGH; and have a knowing of the goodness that comes with this knowledge. Why would this be so important for one's character?

To view yourself as low would mean that you are teachable, relatable, understanding, quick to forgive, shows kindness, and all things to show that we have a maker, as well. We seem to forget that fact. No matter what anyone says, the universe is simply too perfect and too beautiful to just so happen; not to mention if it was by chance we would have a lot more problems on earth. If Earth would even be here due to cosmic debris. If anyone has seen life form or has seen life taken, then you know there is something outside of this material world. A lowly person can understand and appreciate such miracles.

Being low in today's standards is definitely the opposite, the only thing that is the same, is the name. One is low because it's a needed attribute to rise to the highest you can rise to for goodness sake. The other, because it's to get what one wants for one's own sake. And the only way one can do that is if they are not seen e.i their hands are hidden in their moves they make. One is for self first and one is for others first. Which low would you consider to be?
