Letting Jesus in

To let Jesus into your life would do you wonders. If you feel uncertainty in a broken world he will show you the narrow path that must be taken in order to feel relief from it. “I can do bad all by myself” is the motto of people's lives. What alternative is there? Well if you take Jesus out of the equation there is no alternative. And when you're doing “bad” alone, where does that lead you? Big picture viewpoint?
Take your whole life, so you are walking in a dark forest with no light or lantern to help guide you so you are stumbling over every branch, root, creepy crawler and of course running into cob webs, trees and anything else out there. And this is not just until you get comfortable in the dark rather this is your whole time in the forest. And guess what you might learn how to watch your step and grab a stick to catch the webs, you are still IN THE DARK!
If you learn to build a house, get clothing and food in the dark, you then get in your head you are no longer in the dark. The forest mirage has set in on you and now you are living in a disguise . But that disguise doesn't come without a tag along and that tag could show up in different forms, one being anger, addiction, know it all ego, fear, and so on. That too, is in the dark so even though you can sense it, it has no light to show itself.
Unfortunately most people never know what light is while there in the forest. And the people that do understand where that light comes from and how it is guiding them through the dark forest. Know that it's God. God has sent his son unto the forest to go through the same darkness that everyone faces so he can completely understand the same situation that people face. And now he is able to be your lantern so you can see and give you a spark yourself.
Now you can “do” all by yourself. This is true. But don't you want to see what you're doing, understand the forest and let it be lit? I mean it's actually beautiful in the light.
