The Zodiac and The Fallen

Astrology and zodiac have been around for as long as history has been recorded. It all started with the Babylonians, whose civilization discovered some of the most advanced math we use today, some of the first recorded writing systems ,laws; including the code of Hammurabi, engineering and sciences. How did such a civilization have the means to understand the working of the zodiac?
Before we answer that question let us learn a little more about the history of the Babylonians from the Bible's historic account. The Bible traces Babylon's origins to Noah's descendant, Nimrod, in the land of Shinar (Genesis 10-11), linking it to the prideful Tower of Babel, a symbol of human rebellion and confusion of languages. (Nimrod tried to build a tower to reach God/exceed God out of anger for destroying his forefathers.) Later, Babylon became a powerful empire, notably under Nebuchadnezzar II, known for conquering Judah, destroying Jerusalem, and initiating the Babylonian Exile (6th century BCE). The Bible portrays Babylon as a symbol of spiritual corruption, idolatry, and tyrannical worldly power, ultimately prophesying its downfall. (taken from Google)
Now have you ever talked to a fortune teller? They tend to rely on things like the zodiac and numbers. How is it that being born under or in cooperation with the stars, planet and the universe and placement thereof have an effect on the outcome of our lives and how would we humans know this? (the following is taken from Google).
Genesis 6:1-4 (The Sons of God): This passage describes "sons of God" (often interpreted as fallen angels or Nephilim progenitors) mating with human women, producing giants, and introducing corrupted knowledge, which some traditions link to the origin of illicit arts.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12: Lists forbidden practices, including sorcery, divination, and spirit mediums, stating, "There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (v. 10-12), implying the divine origin of such knowledge is rejected.
Isaiah 47:12-14: Addresses Babylon (often a symbol for rebellious nations/powers), saying, "Stand fast in your enchantments and your many sorceries with which you have labored from your youth; perhaps you may be able. You are exhausted with your many consultations; let them stand up and save you, those who divide the heavens, who gaze at the stars, who at the new moons predict what shall befall you! Behold, they are like stubble; the fire consumes them; they cannot deliver themselves" (v. 12-14).
There is a book not included in the bible called the book of Enoch (who is mentioned in the bible). In chapters 7 and 8 the watchers (not all of them) came and taught humans astrology and divination from the stars' enchantments or (spells) and much more. The Book of Enoch frames these teachings not as beneficial to civilization, but as the revelation of "eternal secrets which were preserved in heaven" that were forbidden to humans, directly leading to the corruption and violence that necessitated the Great Flood. (taken from google) And of course we know continued on after the flood with Babylon.
God told Abraham to not look at the signs because God is above the stars therefore can override it. He is saying you are limiting yourself when you rely on those things and not God. Don't let signs or numbers rule you.
Part 2 How Jesus overcomes the Rule of the Fallen
So we know who is running the world based on the above section but to dive deeper like to use the following verses from the new testament Luke 4:5-7 New International Version 5 The devil led him (Jesus) up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 If you worship me, it will all be yours.”
He wanted Jesus to “fall” like he does everyone else and especially because Jesus is the savior to break the curse. He is one with God (John 10:30: "I and the Father are one).
Lets compare it to a court setting, Satan has to prove to God that all humans will sin and therefore should not be the ruler of the Earth. And so far all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.
Jesus comes on the scene born into sin with every opportunity that was presented to him to place sin in his heart yet he never lets it corrupt him or be set on his heart. So if someone drinks alcohol but doesn't like it yet still drinks, does it make them a sinner in the form of an alcoholic? No. Maybe in our system it would. You see Satan gave them the opening but it wouldn't matter how many times they tried drinking it is not on their heart. However if that same person loves to lie and see it as right with themselves, then Satan has them in a state of sin and now they have no way “out of jail” and can not “win in court” because the wages of sin is death, therefore he, Satan still is allowed to rule the Earth.
So if anyone was to beat Satan in “court” they would have to be tested by Satan in every way and still remain without sin though it all. 2 Corinthians 5:21 ("He who knew no sin"), 1 Peter 2:22 ("He committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth"), Hebrews 4:15 ("tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin"), and 1 John 3:5 ("in him there is no sin"). So he could have yelled out in court "I'm going to kill you” But was it in his heart that he would really kill someone, no it was not in him. And that's why the bible makes it clear that only God knows what is on someone's heart. 1 Samuel 16:7: This verse contrasts how humans look at outward appearance, while the Lord looks at the heart.
So yes God made a way for the serpent to come in and deceive us but we are supposed to overcome him and find our way back to God. To know and understand what really is important and matters. And get out of the cycle of sin and death. The devil didn't just bring Jesus on the mountain to offer him things of this world so he will worship him. He does it to everyone, every day, in different ways, so it will have a black mark on our record and bring us further away from God. He lays plans out for you so he can offer you something and then have it set in your heart.
One last example, you had the chance to bully someone that other people were bullying, so you bully them too. Well that one incident might not make you a bully but it opened the door to be embedded in you, a forever bully. (Which by the way can cause so many problems in a community, including lack of understanding, not willing to understand because your instinct now goes to bullying/ taking advantage of/ abusing someone and then you get in your mind that you are set apart/I'm better than people, and on and on) which leads to again, away from your divine true nature and real knowledge of correct way of being leading to death and turmoil cycle still, all because the devil enticed you to something not really meant for you and not only enticed you but made you engulf it like it is OK. that is sin. From now on, choose Jesus's way. He loves you as the Father does.
